Mysz leśna (Apodemus flavicollis) - niewielki ssak z rodziny myszowatych o długości ciała 8,5 - 13 cm oraz ogona 10 - 13 cm i wadze 22 - 45 g. Charakteryzuje się żółtawobrązowym ubarwieniem z białym brzuchem, na szyi jest jaśniejsza, posiada ochrową obrożę. Posiada duże oczy i uszy. Występuje w środkowej, wschodniej i południowo-wschodniej Europie, pojedyncze stanowiska stwierdzono także w zachodniej Europie. Środowisko jej występowania to przede wszystkim zarośla lasów mieszanych i liściastych, parki i ogrody. Zimą przenosi się do domostw. W górach występuje do 2000 m n.p.m. Mysz ta aktywna jest o zmierzchu i w nocy. Jest ssakiem mało towarzyskim.
